Ed Stetzer (whom I have a man-crush on along with Andy Stanley) writes a provocative and great article here… go read it!
He basically is talking about the trend to slam the church. Now I’ve had my share of run-ins with Christians and churches that are as cold as Antarctica (remember the term “Frozen Chosen”?), having traveled pretty much into tons of them full time for a few years, but I still believe in the mission of the capital C church and believe in it. It IS the bride of Christ. So while we might disagree with what some churches do, we should spend our time building up the Bride rather than tearing her down.
