The end of the world as we know it…

05 Nov

This morning I ran into something that threw me for a loop.  At first I thought perhaps there was a glitch in the matrix.  Then I realized what the truth was… it must be the end of the world as we know it.

What did I see?  Something so scary, so out of touch with culture, it’s almost too hideous to mention.  But, for you faithful blog readers, here’s what I saw:
A cash-only McDonalds.
What kind of society have we evolved into that would allow this sort of atrocity to co-exist in the same town as our children.  The same children that use our hard-earned money to take of the goodies said food vendor offers.  What must we do to recognize that we are a cashless society?  Oh, the humanity.
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, come quickly!

Cash, what’s that i know about the Man in black but not of this thing you call cash, but i’m also married. This Mcdonalds must have a girly motif because we all know that are wallets are continually sabatoged by our “better half”.

This is the Wal-Mart McDonald’s, isn’t it? I don’t think that counts as an actual McDonald’s. And I hate Wal-Mart, as a side note.

Here’s one better… Cold Stone has hand-written signs that say, “We round up to the nearest quarter.” So if your Love-It cup is supposed to be $8.52, it’s $8.75. I’m pretty sure that’s not even legal.
