Perry Noble’s Politics

Perry Noble had a great blog post I read recently concerning pastors/religious leaders endorsing a political candidate.  You need to read this post!  You can find it here.

Here’s the quote I love so much.  Sounds like he’s been listening to some Derek Webb or something like that (or just reading the Bible…):

“And…let me be honest, to ANY church and/or pastor that does do political endorsements…you are a prostitute that has sold out the Gospel of Christ is exchange for four more years of promises and predictions. STOP IT!”

The need for a strong 3rd party

Now I’m not super political and rarely will make political comments, but the news as of late convinces me of the need for a third (and possibly 4th, 5th, 6th) major political party. (not referring to the little parties that just server to take a few votes here and there, but something that could become as big as the Big 2). Both parties are way too polarized and I’m conviced both make decisions that are more focused on partison pleasure than the needs of Americans. Think on that.
